EXTEND EVENTS WITH A STAY
Don't want the fun to end? Don't want to drive home at night? We are happy to host you after our circles, dinners, dances, and other events.
Camping is always included with our overnight retreats. Consider coming a day early or staying a day longer or upgrading to a bed in one of our "glamping" options.
All campers have access to the outdoor bathroom with hot water shower and sink, and composting toilet. We also have a common indoor space with tables for communal eating. Coffee, tea, and well water are always available.
Hot, farm-fresh meals are offered for donation during select events.
We have rustic campsites, as well as a pop-up camper and a skoolie!

Pop-Up: Tent camper with king bed, queen bed, couch, and table. Sleeps 4. $30/night per individual (shared space with up to 3 others) or $85 to reserve the whole camper for 1 or 2 people.

WHAT TO DO
A nice balance of fun and relaxation is available to you! Try our ninja course, play horseshoes or badminton, use our library of board games and books, stroll the Meadow Walk or explore the woods, chat with the chickens, watch a movie on the projector, or just relax in the hammocks. Join us in the evenings around the bonfire!
Rooted Free Farm is an evolving personal dream and community space. We are slowly turning lawns back into food production with vegetable and medicine gardens, an orchard, and chickens. We are cultivating spaces for our guests to connect with the land and its rhythms. Most likely we'll be knee deep in one of these projects when you visit, whether it's planting fall crops, building teepees f
Our farm is just minutes from many great attractions, like the beautiful Contoocook River, Henniker Covered Bridge, blueberry picking, lakes for swimming, hiking trails, waterfalls, and the Henniker Brewing Company. We have kayaks available for rent! Don't miss the Henniker Concert Series on the green in summer.
