Sacred Union Ceremony
This is a sacred capsule of time just for the couple, to allow yourselves to arrive fully, and to release the bustle of everyday life and wedding preparation, as well as any worries or fears, so that you may be wholly present for each other and at ease to enjoy your guests and celebration. Lauren will guide you through an activity to anchor deeply into the foundations of your love, setting the stage for an embodied ceremony which will be recorded into your very being and carried forth into your united life.

Closing of the Bones Life Transition Ceremony
This ancient ceremony honors the one whom we have been, closing that chapter of our lives in a loving way to prepare us to open to the next. The bride and groom will be wrapped in cocoons of woven rebozo cloths, and led through the ceremony to emerge anew. This may be private, include only a small circle of loved ones prior to the main event, or be woven in as a part of the wedding itself.

Sisters Circle
Born out of observing the nerves present in the room as the bride and her attendants prepare for the ceremony, this circle offers grounding and connection. In the time immediately preceding the main ceremony, Lauren will gather the bride and any women and girls the bride wishes to be present. The women will be invited to sip a calming herbal tea blend together, and be led through gentle breathwork to relax and come into the present moment. The bride will express any needs and be tended to, and the group will be invited to share from their hearts about each individual's kinship with the bride, bringing alive feelings of deep sisterhood. The circle closes and funnels into clear, calm direction on entering the main ceremony proceedings.

Mens Council
Similar to the Sisters Circle, this offering calls together the groom and any men and boys he wishes to be present. This gathering will center in setting intentions related to the groom's role in the union, with a guided session of insight sharing from the other men. The facilitator will lead a breathwork exercise to ground and relax all the men prior to the main ceremony.

Kava Circle
Kava is a beverage made from the root of the Piper methysticum plant native to the Pacific Islands. Traditionally this herbal beverage is shared in groups to foster community and connection. The plant offers calming and mildly euphoric effects, promoting heart-opening, relaxation, and social bonding among participants. Following your main ceremony, we will serve you and your guests traditionally prepared kava and lead the group in a celebratory circle. This is a beautiful alternative to a cocktail hour!
